Cancer Biology Fall Welcome

At the start of each academic year, this event provides incoming graduate students the opportunity to meet and network with faculty members conducting cancer biology research at Harvard, as well as senior graduate students from cancer biology labs.

Landry Cancer Biology Consortium Fall Symposium

This annual symposium represents the wide array of cancer related research taking place Harvard-wide. Speakers from both basic and applied fields represent labs from the various Harvard-affiliated institutions.

Graduate Student Data Club

One Monday per month at 5:30pm, NRB350. This student-only forum allows the opportunity to engage in peer review, practice critical questioning skills, and learn about techniques outside one's immediate field. We encourage student presentations on works-in-progress!

Seminars in Oncology lunches

Tuesdays 12-1pm, RSVP link to be circulated via listserv. The DF/HCC Seminars in Oncology (Tuesdays at 4pm) invites nationally recognized cancer biology researchers each week. For select seminar dates, the opportunity for a small group lunch with the speaker is provided.

Faculty-Student Socials

One Thursday per month at 5:30pm, location to be circulated via listserv. The aim of this event series is to foster student-faculty networking. In this informal atmosphere, students have the change to get feedback and advice on various aspects of their graduate career or discuss the future of the cancer biology field.
